Tricky Poses Club Advert
Join the tricky poses club! Starts this Thursday 18th Feb! www.sole2soulyoga.co.uk/timetable ** 3rd Thursday of each month 6-7.30pm ** Want to work out how to start to work the technique to crack those tricky poses? You may be almost there or a way off.. no worried! all welcome.. step by step we get there! This is a CLUB so its not just a class.. there will be low numbers of us deliberately so we can see each other (leave the camera on) and encourage and coach. The first session will be 'assessment' and mostly focused on handstand and possibly wheel as some of the drills are the same. I believe we should train 'smart' rather than just aimlessly train the wrong bits, but inevitably there will be some bits we need to work on more between sessions and this will depend on where you need it. We'll be looking at what might be holding you back and key areas include ** wrist and shoulder mobility ** shoulder and back strength an stability ** core and hip flexor strength ** confidence and technique Don't worry we'll all be at different stages and thats fine - there will be options and build up work for all. After class I'd like to 'buddy you up' to someone to train with between sessions so if you have a friend of a similar level to you who is coming along (or not), great, if not I can find you one - it really helps to keep you motivated and on track and we will use the group to share progress too and I'll be assessing and giving new training drills and tips to the group in between! middle splits buddy training !
Do you have a training buddy? Here is me and my friend Robin (aka not so secret handstand club training buddy) working on middle splits (to help with the hip mobility needed for press handstand) .. warts and all this is our 'before' pictures so we can see how we progress to Jean Claude Van Damme splits :-) do you have a training buddy? really can help to keep you motivated, feedback on progress and give tips! if you can.. find one!
