A bit of an all over quickie including hips, twists, back, shoulders hamstrings and some sun salutations to get the whole body moving in an accessible way

Lots of twists, hip stretches and strengtheners and then we try baby grasshopper! Grab a strap and a block and have a go

lots of flow, planks (back, side and 3 legged),to build shoulder and core strength a crow, warriors... and hip stretches and try baby grasshopper (a twisty lifty pose) at the end :-)

We break down the building blocks of how to safely get into a Shoulder stand - great for the body and mind - but be cautious (and we give options and tips) A flow to warm up, lots of shoulder, chest and leg stretches along with core and back strength... be close to a wall if you struggle or can't do shoulderstand

Ideally do this daily - first thing in the morning is ideal , maybe twice daily but don't worry if you miss a day or need to do it later in the day. Do your best. Start to observe your kleshas along with the thoughts and emotions in your day and what triggers them, and how you approach them especially powerful ones and note down them as well. We start with 8 minutes guided meditation but please do continue for as long after to focus on the breath and be the witness. Keep a notepad or paper next to you and note down any insights after the meditation. Start to see patterns of how your mind works. As you notice particularly strong Kleshas (which we all have) see if you can find their root and approach them with curiosity, acceptance and love. With the plan to reduce and release them to find less attachment to them. Use the labels to identify them and explore them further after the guided meditation or in future meditations.: The Kleshas ignorance (avidya), association with the ego (asmita), attachment o pleasure (raga), aversion from non pleasure (dvesha), and fear of loss, change or death (abhinivesha).

We focus on the technique, strength, mobility and build up poses to headstand - shoulder and core strength and stretches and hamstring and hips to maybe do a version with the legs down or up!

Floor based all levels movement with breath to ground to body as we explore this powerful lesson also from yoga philosophy - to start contemplating the death of the physical body as a given so we may truly live life to its fullest potential
